How do LEGOS stick.

Have you ever saw the tubes on the bottom of a legos?

There used to be no tubes on the bottom of legos and the legos didn’t stick as well as now. I don’t wan’t to spend a long time on a lego set and when I pick it up it breaks!. The legos stick becuse of the tubes.
